IG Live can be pretty hit or miss. But what makes it miss? During quarantine, we watched a ton of our friends, families and colleagues take to Live and took notes on what did and didn’t work. There are some user-behaviors we saw we could streamline, but the actual user interface was an obstacle in itself too. We took time to design around the issue and were able to produce a fun IG Live show that was sharp and entertaining to watch.

Poetry “Slam” In The Quarantine Era
Virtual open mics and slams via IG live: Not great. The video quality, audio quality, lack of atmosphere, and most importantly the live aspect are all stripped away. My question is: What would the ideal digital open mic and slam look like in the quarantine era?
