Description
Get reeled into the Manchester ends with this poem by Manchester poet Jardel Rodrigues and designed by Christian Barker. One of 12 Visual Poetry Posters made for Pen Clique’s Poetry Art Gallery; the poem reads as follows:
Hazmat Casuals:
Drinking champagne in Chernobyl,
Secret handshakes with the locals.
We don’t really speak much…
Only when phones are brandished,
hands mime gang-signs, that coded language:
in hopes they can turn opium into opals.
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it’ll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
